With 25+ years of experience in the workplace, Patrick offers a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge.

Patrick currently holds the position of President & CEO at Ipsen Inc., a global manufacturer of thermal processing equipment with revenues in excess of 100 million USD, that caters to the aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, energy, and tool & die industries.

During his tenure at Ipsen he has led the firm to significant growth, establishing strong relationships along the way with companies that include Blue Origin, SpaceX, GE, Raytheon, Parker Aerospace, Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), Chromalloy, Desktop Metal, Velo3D, and Bodycote. Prior to Ipsen, Patrick was a co-founder of Nevada Heat Treating and California Brazing, both of whom were ultimately sold to a PE firm.

Patrick, a former endurance runner with over 30 event finishes of marathon distance or further and certified running coach (led LinkedIn and Google employee programs on behalf of the San Francisco marathon), is an engineer whose career in technical environments has been balanced with commercial acumen. He builds strong customer relationships based on trust in combination with the provision of novel technical and commercial solutions. He has successfully held full P&L responsibility at Ipsen while leveraging the building blocks developed throughout his career to achieve industry leading results. He’s the type of leader who is strong on strategy, financials, and sales while remaining grounded at the shop floor level; the area where he spends his first minutes every morning upon arrival to the workplace.

Patrick has provided formal coaching and consultative professional services to individuals, corporations, and Boards since 2009. In addition to his USATF and Certified Executive Coach certifications, Patrick holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northwestern University. Patrick is also a Northwestern University Student Mentorship Program and Externship Program (NEXT) volunteer. Patrick lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife Melissa and their two school aged children.
